Wild Deep Side!! Loving Life!!

My dearest Family!!!

It has been such an amazing week. I love how the Lord truly knows each one of us individually and knows exactly what we need to learn and grow and become who he has sent us here to become. I am so thankful he allows us to be apart of His great work.

So this week has been so interesting. We really struggled to find success in our area. We would plan and seek confirmation on where to go and what to do each day and we found ourselves with only 1 new investigator and 3 progressing this week. We introspected and set goals to be more exactly obedient and really sought to know from God as to what more we could do and what we could change to find success in our area. After much pondering, praying and counseling together we continued to feel like the area boundaries needed to be reevaluated with the Assistants so we acted and called them up. In our comp study on Saturday the unexpected happened. We are going to Ft Laud West! Wow. When they told us that option the spirit was so strong. I am pretty sure it was the strongest and most clear impression I have received to this point. So much peace and joy! Then it hit me at what this meant that Heavenly Father trusts us enough to make the choice. Wow. Heavenly Father is so amazing! Wow. I am so grateful for this experience. I have learned so much.

The last couple weeks have changed my mission and life and eternity!! Some things I have learned:
Heavenly Father honors our agency completely – all we need to do is choose into His plan. We gain His trust by relying on Him and the Spirit in all things even our prayers.
Prayer – a time to counsel and account with God. I learned how to come prepared to pray and that as I do so with the Spirit I will know what to ask for!
Submitting – the Lord asks that we come to Him with a Broken heart and a contrite spirit. Submitting to the will of the Father comes as we put down all the conditions and limitations that we have placed before the Lord and truly let him into our hearts. Then we can serve as he would have a serve, without guile and personal agenda with our eye single to His glory.
Humility – he shows us our weaknesses but His grace is sufficient and those weaknesses are made strong as we turn to him.

Pride – comparing, criticizing, condemning, complaining, competing, controlling and being comfortable are all huge forms of pride to get out of pride we humble ourselves and repent and turn to the Lord.

Consecration – We are to give as the Lord would have us give – this doesn’t mean we neglect ourselves but it means we come prepared and ready for him to use us. As we do this and trust in him, he enables us to serve with all our heart, might, mind and strength!!

Principle of compensation – We have seen so many miracles! Janko sleeping in and being able to come to church, Victor walking down the street and want to completely change his life, harvesting last night and finding 2 families that can’t wait to get baptized on the 30! Not to mention all the miracles we have seen in the sisters areas. The Lord truly does compensate us in returned blessings.

Just to make sure that was clear. We are whitewashing Ft Laud West. aka Lauderhill aka Deep Side! I am so excited. I have always wanted to serve in Ft. Laud! Also it is mid transfer so that is a wild time but so great! I love how Heavenly Father works and how he gives us each what we need to truly submit and come unto him.

It is amazing to see how much I have grown and changed so far. I am so thankful. I feel like I have really been able to let go and let God and choose in more than I ever have before. I really have learned to apply the atonement and repent daily. I have learned to trust in God and to love and cherish every moment. I have really learned to be in the now!
